Erin + Chris

Hey guys! We just got back from a family wedding in Missouri. If you thought it was hot here in Atlanta, you should have been there. The heat index on Saturday was 112! Some of the kids left squirt guns and pool toys out by Ray's sister's pool and they melted. Crazy! Anyway, if you're wondering why all of the blogs lately have been from 7.30.2008 it's because I set them up before we left so I could keep up with my post-a-thon!

Now on to the good stuff. Erin and Chris were married 4.26.2008 at the Cathedral of Christ the King and the reception was at Maggianos. Here's a little about the wedding from Callie and Aaron.

Erin had to have been the most chill bride in history. Apparently the most important wedding details to her were the chocolate fountain, which was the first thing she secured after she got engaged, and her amazing silver and navy sneakers that matched her wedding colors. The reception was unbelievably fun (thanks to her hilarious Boston family- her dad has NINE brothers & sisters) and thanks to a great job by DJ Tod Peavy. Maggianos has won our hearts as favorite reception site- huge and classy and with incredible food. The highlight of the night was when Hairy Dog (UGA's mascot) crashed the party as a surprise for the groom. :) Hairy Dog stayed and danced through the entire wedding... Another fun fact: She's a public defender and he's a prosecutor...

Michelle + Maverick

We're getting ready for a wedding today but I thought I'd give you a few more pictures from a past wedding... (since this is the blog post-a-thon). AND our wedding today picked a great date. It's my 27th birthday. I will be celebrating with a slice of wedding cake and some late night fun with our other photographers and some close friends at Taco Mac.

Now on to the pictures. Michelle and Maverick (such a cool name) were married 4.19.2008 at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church and the reception was at the Taylor Grady House in Athens. Callie and Aaron documented the day. Here's a little about the wedding from Callie:

Maverick and Michelle met in Athens at the Taco Stand downtown and he proposed in the Presidential gardens on North Campus (when he asked if she'd marry him, she replied "Are you sure?") It was exciting to be back in my favorite city (I wore red shoes in honor of the "red & black"). We took pictures of the two of them after the ceremony on North Campus, where Aaron decided to climb a tree for some shots. The reception was in the backyard of a historic home, under a tent and with amazing BBQ. It was a perfect "Southern" wedding.

Jenna + Zach

Jenna and Zach were married on 4.12.2008 at First Baptist Church of Woodstock and the reception was held at Hollycrest Hall in Marietta. Here’s a little more about the wedding from Aaron and Callie:

Jenna was a friend of mine from elementary school, so it was cool to see her and some of her bridesmaids that I also went to school with all grown up. The church was HUGE and decorated beautifully. Jenna and Zach were the most photogenic couple EVER and the bridal party was so much fun to take pictures of. My favorite touch was Jenna's red shoes (and red garter). The groom's cake was a toolbox with little Fisher Price tools. Zach even cut the cake with the little toy saw!
