Heather + Preston

We were really excited to photograph Heather and Preston's wedding on 2.22.2008 at Rhode's Hall... mostly because we had done bridal portraits of Heather about 2 weeks earlier so we knew how much fun she was so we could only imagine what Preston was like!

Heather and Preston were one of the most laid back couples I've ever met. So laid back that they arrived at Rhodes together! Preston even helped her get ready! It was amazing. It really helped both of them relax and enjoy the day. They were so easy to photograph and so in love... it was awesome! They had a very relaxed dinner reception at Sam and Roscoe's in Douglasville. Everyone sat around and enjoyed the great food and great company.

Hopefully you guys will enjoy looking at these as much as we enjoyed taking them! :)

Lindsey + Rob

Lindsey and Rob were married 2.9.2008 at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in downtown Atlanta and had their reception at the Atlanta Women's Club. We had SO much fun with them and their entire wedding party... everyone was just so cool!

Lindsey's neice was the flower girl. I think she's probably one of the coolest (and cutest) kids I've ever seen. We caught her giving knuckles to one of the groomsmen during the after ceremony photos. After the reception, Lindsey and Rob walked around the corner to the Four Seasons. We really love it when people walk to their wedding night hotel. It makes for awesome photos.

Lindsey also owns an invitation company called Linvites. If you're still in the market for invitations you should definitely give her a call!

Enjoy! :)

Kelley + Zach

I love photographing weddings but especially for people that I have a connection with. Kelley and I went to middle and high school together in Conyers, Georgia. I was SO honored when she contacted me for her wedding photography. Of course I said yes! :)

Kelley and Zach were married on 12.8.2007 in Murphy, North Carolina. We had never been to Murphy so we had no idea how small it was, but boy was it small! Everyone knew each other, which was kind of cool! You don't really see that much anymore. Anyway, the ceremony was at Murphy United Methodist Church. It's this amazing church right in the middle of "town". You can see it in the background of one of the pictures below. The reception was held at Millrace Farm which is a cool barn-like building. Eileen Carter came all the way up from Atlanta (on my recommendation to Kelley) and did this unbelievable "Zachopoly" cake. It looked exactly like a Monopoly board except it had names of places Kelley and Zach had lived, visited and enjoyed during their relationship. It was very hard to get a picture of since all of the guests were crowded around it all night! :)

Congratulations Kelley and Zach. Although this blog is belated, I hope you enjoy it! :)
