Kelly + Alex - Engagement Party

Recently I got to play guest (for once) at an engagement party for my sister! Yep... my little sister is getting married. I called up some of my favorite vendors in Atlanta and threw together the perfect party!

My sister and I got ready at our house. We played Rock Band and the fabulous Scoobie West came over and made us look super glamorous. I told him to make me look like Hilary Duff... what do you think? My sister's fiance loves to gamble so I thought it would be perfect to host a casino party. I needed to find the perfect location so I called up the ladies at The Piedmont Room at Park Tavern. The room is so elegant and the backdrop of the midtown skyline made everything just come together! Eileen Carter made an amazing cake that was shaped like poker chips. Everyone enjoyed flavors like chocolate with fresh banana cream, marble cake with chocolate filling and white cake with fresh strawberry filling. Yummm!! I want some now! =) The flowers were provided by one of the best florists in the Atlanta area, Carla Duncan with On Occasions of Atlanta. I pretty much just told Carla the theme and color scheme and she went with it. The flowers looked so amazing!! And last but not least the guys over at Avalanche Entertainment hooked us up with some blackjack tables and a dj to keep us entertained all night long!

I had such a great time at the party and can't wait for Kelly and Alex's wedding in October... I get to be the Married Maid of Honor! =)

Jenn + Jared

As it turns out 1.12.2008 was an insanely popular wedding date this year. We had 3 weddings company wide that day. One of them being one of our own photographers... but more on that later.

Jenn and Jared were married at The Cathedral of Christ the King (one of our favorite churches) followed by an amazing party at the Capital City Club where everyone was entertained by one of our favorite bands... Kingsized. (Anyone see a trend here?) We had an amazing time with this wonderful couple. What a perfect way to start out the new year!

Enjoy!
