Dana + Chris

This is another wedding I didn't shoot but wish I would have :) Our associate team Jason and Candace shot this one. Dana and Chris got married 6.2.2007 at the Hazelhurst House in McDonough. After seeing this venue I can't wait to shoot a wedding there! The gazebo where they got married and the grounds are breathtaking.

I've never met Chris but I met Dana at our Spring 2007 Meet and Greet and we talked practically the whole time. I felt like I had known her for years! She is such a wonderful person and I'm so glad we could document her big day!

Here are my favorites...

Melissa + Phil

Where do I begin with Melissa and Phil...

They started with a wedding here in Atlanta. Halfway through the planning, they decided to elope! (How many of us have had thoughts of that during wedding planning?) They asked us to come with them to the Bahamas and they really didn't have to twist our arm too much. :)

What an amazing wedding!! We started out on Abaco where they had a beautiful ceremony. It was so intimate and special. After the ceremony we moved to a private cay off of Abaco called Guana Cay. AMAZING!! We had the best day with Melissa and Phil and are so honored that they asked us to photograph their wedding in the Bahamas. :)

Anyway, here are some of my favorites.

Sarah + Adam

After Tharcila's wedding we flew down to Jekyll Island for a wedding at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. Wow! What a gorgeous setting for a wedding! Sarah and Adam were married on 5.26.2007 at the Crane Cottage. Ray started out the day with a little golf with Adam and the boys while I stayed with the girls for a bridal luncheon and getting ready. They had the perfect day for a wedding... and it shows in the photos!

Tharcila + Michael

Tharcila and Michael were married on 5.25.2007 at King Plow. This is such a cool venue! We love exposed brick and the industrial look. All of the little details were amazing. They even thought to provide baskets of flip flops for guests at the reception so they could keep partying! Here are some of my favorites...

We're Baaaack!!!!

We're back from our family wedding in Missouri. We had so much fun! It's always great to see extended family that you don't get to see very often. The wedding was beautiful. It was an outdoor wedding and it rained the entire time. The facility had no indoor location, just pavilions. So everyone crowded under the pavilions and watched the ceremony. It was perfect.

While we were there we got the chance to go up to St. Louis. We went to Six Flags and rode some roller coasters (our favorite!) and then we went to Harrah's and played some blackjack (also our favorite!)

All in all it was a good trip but we're excited to be back home. We have lots of weddings to update the blog with... :)

Allison + Cam

I don't have long... busy day getting ready to leave to go out of town. I'm editing Allison and Cam's photos now and I just wanted to share a couple of my favorites I've edited so far. Their wedding was shot by our associate team Larry and Jessica. I met Allison and Cam at our Spring 2007 Meet and Greet and they are SUCH a cute couple! I wish I could have shot their wedding myself. :) (Of course I think that about all of our weddings though.) They had a lot of really cute details that really made the wedding their own... like Cam and his groomsmen wearing Converse instead of uncomfortable dress shoes. Anyway... here are the pictures!

Leaving on a jet plane...

Well... not really. A small private plane. :)

We're leaving tomorrow to go to Missouri for a family wedding. We thought it was going to be a small wedding but we just found out there will be 400 guests! Crazy! Anyway, I've got a few weddings to update the blog with when we get back. It's been a crazy month of traveling for us and we love it!

6.16.2007

Katie + Brandon

So it's late and I'm getting ready for bed. I just got done editing Katie and Brandon's wedding and I wanted to share some of my favorites. They got married 5.19.2007 at Peachtree Christian with the reception at the Wimbish House. Katie was probably one of the most photogenic brides we've ever had. The camera LOVED her!

6.14.2007

Stephanie + Rich

Stephanie and Rich were married on May 12 at The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. After the ceremony we took the bridal party to the GA Tech campus and 17th street bridge for some photos. They were such a fun group and we got some fabulous shots!

Brandi + Josh

I think a good place for me to start is with Brandi and Josh. We went to South Beach Miami for their engagement photos back in March. South Beach is one of our favorite vacation spots and believe it or not, it's good for photos too ;)

We have since become good friends with Brandi and Josh and were pleased to shoot their wedding on May 4th at Cedar Plantation. Here are a few of our favorites.

New Blog!

Alright, alright! I'm caving! So many people have been asking us to start a blog so here we go! Hopefully I'll remember to keep it updated. :) We're in our busy season now so I'll have some weddings to put up shortly.
